ORDERS & SHIPPING

How long will it take to get my shirt?

Every Drumfoolery shirt is printed specifically for you after your order is placed. Instead of pulling pre-printed inventory from a warehouse shelf, each order is individually produced, inspected, and packaged before shipping.

Here's what that means for your timeline:

PRODUCTION

2–5 business days to print, inspect, and package your shirt.

SHIPPING

Add approximately 3–5 business days for delivery within the contiguous 48 states and Washington, D.C., or 9–17 business days for Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories.

TRACKING

We'll email you a tracking link the moment your order ships.

Total estimated delivery: 5–17 business days from the date your order is placed, depending on your location.

Ordering for a gig, birthday, or holiday? Give yourself a little buffer—we'd hate for your shirt to arrive the day after the show.

Do you offer expedited shipping?

Not at this time. We currently offer free standard shipping for the U.S. and its territories only. Stay tuned—we plan to add faster shipping options as we grow.

Do you ship outside the United States?

We currently ship only within the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii, Washington, D.C., and U.S. territories. International shipping is not available at this time, though we may expand our product offerings globally in the future.

How much does shipping cost?

We offer free standard shipping on all orders. Customers don't like to see additional fees added at checkout and neither do we.

I haven't received a tracking email. What do I do?

First, check your spam folder (we know, we know).

If it's not there, it's possible your order is still in production—remember, we print everything fresh, so it can take 2–5 business days before your shirt even ships.

If it's been more than 7 business days since you ordered and you've heard nothing, reach out via our Contact page with your order number and we'll sort it out.

SIZING & FIT

What sizes do you offer?

We offer adult sizes XS-5XL. All shirts are printed on the Gildan Softstyle 64000, which runs true to size with a classic unisex fit. When in doubt, size up.

Unfortunately, not all color and size combinations are available from our suppliers. This impacts XS, 4XL, and 5XL the most. Even if we designed the artwork with a specific color in mind, that exact combination might not be in stock.

How do I find the right size?

Measure yourself and compare to one of the charts below 👇. There are two different size charts for your convenience; Imperial (inches) and Metric (centimeters).

Do the shirts shrink?

High heat will cause cotton to shrink. Solid colors are 100% cotton. The Antique and Heather color styles have different blends of cotton and polyester and will be less likely to shrink if exposed to high heat.

That said your shirt can shrink if you run it through a hot dryer. To keep your shirt from turning into a crop top, wash cold and tumble dry low (or hang dry).

More on that in the Care Instructions section below 👇.

THE SHIRTS

What shirts do you print on?

We print exclusively on the Gildan Softstyle 64000. It's ultra-soft, lightweight (4.5 oz/yd²), ring-spun cotton with a classic crew neck and tear-away label (because itchy tags are the enemy of a good performance). Certain color styles are made with a blend of cotton and polyester.

Here are the fabric blends by color:

  • Solid colors: 100% Ring-Spun Cotton
  • Sport Grey & Antique colors: 90% Cotton / 10% Polyester
  • Graphite Heather: 50% Ring-Spun Cotton / 50% Polyester
  • Other Heather colors: 35% Ring-Spun Cotton / 65% Polyester

All shirts are made using ethically grown US cotton via the US Cotton Trust Protocol and are OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified. Safe, sustainable, and certified fresh.

What printing method do you use?

We use DTG (Direct-to-Garment) printing for vibrant, long-lasting color. The artwork is printed directly into the fabric fibers rather than sitting on top, which means a softer feel and better durability over time—as long as you follow the care instructions 😉.

Will the colors look exactly like they do on my screen?

Close, but screen colors and print colors can vary slightly—every monitor is calibrated differently. We design for maximum vibrancy in print, so what you see on screen is a very accurate representation.

Heather and blended fabrics may show a slightly softer color than solid-color shirts due to the polyester content.

If your shirt doesn't match what you see on the screen (within acceptable tolerances) please reach out to us via our Contact page so we can make it right.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

How do I wash my shirt to keep the print from fading?

Treat it like you treat your drum set—with the utmost care.

Follow these steps and your shirt will outlast your cymbals:

  • Turn it inside out before washing (protects the artwork)
  • Machine wash cold—gentle cycle
  • Tumble dry low, or hang dry for maximum longevity
  • Do NOT iron directly over the graphic (if you iron over the print, you'll end up with a sticky, melted mess—and we can't help you with that one)
  • Do not bleach—ever
  • Do not dry clean—ever

EXCHANGES & RETURNS

What if my shirt doesn't fit?

Because every shirt is custom-printed to order, we can't accept traditional returns. But we don't leave you stuck either. We call this the "Keep It & Split the Difference" policy:

Don't mail it back. Keep the shirt you have, give it to your bassist, donate it, or pass it along to another drummer who can use it. Just reach out via our Contact page and let us know the correct size. We'll send you the correct size for 50% off—no return required.

To avoid the hassle, check the size chart before you order. The Gildan 64000 generally runs true to size for most customers. You can also find more information in our Order & Shipping Policy and our Returns, Exchanges & Refund Policy.

What if my shirt arrives damaged or defective?

If your shirt has a printing defect, a tear, or we sent you the wrong item entirely - we will make it right at no cost to you.

Send us an email with your name, order number, and a photo of the issue to operations@drumfoolery.com within 30 days of delivery. We'll ship a brand-new replacement immediately. No return required.

📝 Important: damaged/defective claims must be submitted within 30 days of the delivery date.

Do you offer refunds?

Because all shirts are made to order, we do not offer cash refunds for fit or preference reasons.

  • For the wrong size, we offer the 50% replacement described above. (See What if my shirt doesn't fit? above 👆)
  • For defective or incorrect items, we send a full replacement at no charge.

If you believe there's a special circumstance, reach out via our Contact page within 30 days of purchase and we'll do our best to work something out.

Review our Returns, Exchanges & Refund Policy.

PRODUCTS & CUSTOM ORDERS

Can I request a custom design or order shirts for my band?

We love the spirit of the question, but we don't take custom orders or individual design tweaks. We focus exclusively on our own line of drum-culture gear.

That said, if you have a hilarious drumming concept, a relatable drum-life struggle, or a terrible dad joke that deserves to live on a shirt - we genuinely want to hear it.

Drop your idea via our Contact page. If we love it, we might just design it and release it for the whole community.

🎁 By submitting, you're gifting the idea to the drum community - no royalties or attributions, just pure drumfoolery.

Why are some designs only available in certain colors?

Some designs are optimized for specific shirt colors to ensure the artwork pops the way it should. We'd rather offer fewer color options and get it right than throw a design on a shirt where it looks muddy or washed out. We're particular like that.

Unfortunately, not all color and size combinations are available from our suppliers. This impacts XS, 4XL, and 5XL the most. Even if we designed the artwork with a specific color in mind, that exact combination might not be in stock.
